CANADA AND FRANCE 2009 CANCELLED

Two weeks ago the FIA removed Canada from the 2009 F1 Calendar in a surprise announcement. However, the 2009 F1 season has been hit further with the news that the French Grand Prix promoters will not be holding a 2009 race because of financial constraints.

This has led to some belief that Canada may return to avoid a 17-race season. However, at present, there is no news to indicate this will happen.

Ticket sales for both events have now been closed but will re-open if either situation changes.
