Aragon Motogp

General Admission
By Ian, 17 Oct 2011
We stayed in Zaragoza which is a fine city with lots of bars/restuarants however it's approx 60 miles from the racetrack. Access to the event was good however the facilities in our section - general admission tkt - were fairly basic and the limited food and drink was expensive.

Aragon Moto gp a succesful journey.

General Admission
By Simon & Jan., 12 Oct 2011
A very different experience to a British event, hugely enjoyable, made all the more so by the very enthusiastic, and sometimes tipsy local crowd.A great way to break up a Spanish holiday, which also got the approval of the missus.

Aragon great race poor entertainment and track access

Grandstand 1B
By Jase, 01 Oct 2011

Could only enter your ticket area, couldn't walk around circuit like in catalunya...not much to see or do other than the race which is a shame because it's in the middle of nowhere..took 3 hours driving from Barcelona...race itself was great..big televisions at all areas and we sat opposite pitS so always something to watch

General Admission not very general

General Admission
By Paul Woodman, 27 Sep 2011
Very disappointed in circuit access. Our General Admission 4 ticket allowed us to get in to 4 and 4 only. It looked the same for other ticket types too.

Will not be going back there in a hurry.

Aragon not quite Jerez!

Grandstand 3C
By kathryn warden, 24 Sep 2011
the circuit is excellent from the racers point of view, but for spectators it leaves a lot be desired. the only part of the track you can see, is directly in front og your grandstand. the seats are quite far back fro the race track and you are made to feel like cattle herded in and out of one entrance. Perhaps I have been spoilt by Jerez, but I wont be visiting Aragon again.

Motorland

Grandstand 7
By Crooky, 24 Sep 2011
1st time to this circuit and overall a great experience apart from the Friday power problems causing practice cancellation. More circuit owned/controlled camping would be an advantage as many latecomers we spoke to found difficulty finding appropriate pitches due to Guardia Civil moving them on but all in all definately worth return visit. Well laid out circuit and parking/direction well organized.Roll on 2012 events!

Race weekend Aragon Moto GP 2011

Grandstand 5
By South Coast Beemer, 23 Sep 2011
Concidering that the circuit is relatively new access and egress was well organised. We (2) rode to the event. Cars and Bikes seperated well before the circuit, with an imposed 1 way system right round the circuit, which worked well. Bike parking was gritted tarmac, watch for the loose stuff! Stand was not full by any means and looking to stand 7(s) neither were these. Tickets were for row 23, but we sat for Sat and Sun in row 2 but equally could have sat Row 1. Weather Sat very HOT, Race day cold / windy, advise to take something long sleeved to keep warm.
View from stand was good, with reasonable photo taking ops, perfect spot for riders to practice start.
Catering and Loos typically outdoor event but were ok. Not sure what the bag search was all about? Enjoyable week end all round, with a big + of great riding roads. I'd do it again.

amazing weekend of motogp and an amazing atmosphere from the local spanish fans making the experience even better, will no longer be goin to the british granprix and im already looking to plan next years event. Only downside was the scary drive through the mountains to the circuit from where we were staying

Grandstand 3C
By daisy doolittle, 21 Sep 2011
once into the track it was very good. Unfortunately the police and spanish marshalls hadnt got a clue about allowing cars onto the designated parking areas. Conseqently we had a 30 to 40 min walk to get to the stands- past empty carparks!!! Motos were ok and were prioritised but the parking is VERY loose fine gravel- several dropped bikes! The track is one of the best but still in development stage. Dont expect on track entertainment- it all goes on in Alcaniz...big time partying!!! Missing it already.

Very disappointed

By John Tordoff, 20 Sep 2011
Firstly Motorland Aragon is too far from anywhere in my opinion, although logistically it is very well planned out and we had no problem arriving or leaving.
The biggest disappointment for us (and many more people we spoke to) was access inside the circuit. Every other circuit we have visited asks for your ticket upon arrival and then, if you have booked a seat, when you reach your chosen grandstand. This is not the case at Aragon. You have to stay where you booked not for just the races but for the whole weekend.
We watched the 125cc race, then moved to one of the general admission areas for the race only to be turned away and told the only place we were allowed to watch was where we had booked. we were too far away to make it back to our seats, hence we missed the whole race.
We usually attend the qualifying but decided with the distance we would give it a miss. Other people we spoke to who did attend told us they had to stay in their seat, which is ridiculous. How are you supposed to give any feedback or advise to others on where the best viewing points are??
All in all we spent a lot of money to visit this circuit and feel very hard done by.
I appreciate this has nothing to do with Bookmoto, but feel people do need to know before they decide to visit Motorland Aragon.
