MotoGP announced today the provisional 2017 calendar which mirrors this year's schedule and keeps the 18 existing venues. Indonesia and Thailand didn't make the calendar in time, but a greater shake up is expected for 2018 and the possibly with the additional KymiRing in Finland joining the calendar. The biggest changes to the calendar comes with the extended two-week gap between the Argentinian and United States Grand Prix. The decision was taken after the travel difficulties in the week between this year's Termas de Rio Hondo and Austin Races. The two week gap between Mugello and Barcelona has now reduced to one week in exchange. The British and Malaysain GP's are subject to contract on the provisional calendar.
