The Qatar MotoGP is the first and only MotoGP race to be held at night. In 2008, the circuit has been fitted with permanent outdoor lighting which illuminates the track and allows for a night race. The events do not start until the evening over the race weekend.
The circuit only offers the Main Grandstand as viewing area. From here you can enjoy a good view of the starting grid and finish line, as well as the team garages and podium ceremony. The Main Grandstand area also offers access to a gift shop where souvenirs can be purchased, and a cafeteria where snacks and refreshments can be purchased.
Child tickets are not offered by this event and so an adult ticket must be purchased.
Children under the age of 11 have free admission to the Main Grandstand and will be required to show identification on entry at the circuit.
