RACE WEEKEND TRAVEL & PARKING
Getting to Circuit de Catalunya
Getting to Circuit de Catalunya
From Barcelona, follow the C-17 road and take the exit at Montmelo to get to the track. Alternatively you can take the AP-7 Toll Highway to the circuit and exit at 13, 14 or 15 for access to the circuit.
Parking is available at the circuit. You can book for the full weekend (Friday-Sunday) or per day according to your needs. Parking areas are located as follows:
Motorbikes park free at the circuit over the weekend and do not need parking passes. Coach parking is available for bigger groups. Please contact us for a quote.
Disabled parking is available in both Parking C and Parking A. This does not need to be booked in advance, and is free of charge. You will need to display your disabled parking badge in the windscreen on your car and head towards the correct parking area. Marshals will direct you to the correct parking area as you get closer to the circuit.
Sagalés will be running coach services from Barcelona and Llorest de Mar to the circuit. Both can be booked in advance to get to and from the circuit over the race weekend. Tickets and a confirmed timetable will be added soon. Please contact us if you wish to be notified when coach passes go on sale.
Taxis can drop-off and pick-up at the main circuit gates. If possible, try to book your pick-up in advance to avoid a long wait.
The nearest stop to the circuit is Montmelo Station. You can take the Renfe Cercanias Line 2 (R2) train from Barcelona Sants, Barcelona Passeig de Gracia or Barcelona El Clot-Arago stations directly to Montmelo. All of these Barcelona stations can be reached using the Barcelona metro service. From Montmelo station, the circuit entrance is approximately a 25-30 minute walk or there is a shuttle service that runs from the town hall. Please note, the shuttle is a local bus service and can be paid on arrival. Please also note that the service is quite limited.
Barcelona Sants is served by trains from most large cities in Spain, so if you are travelling from further afield, you may want to arrange travel to this station and then onward to the track.
Departures from Downtown Barcelona Harbour (Port Vell) offer a transfer over the city of Barcelona directly to the circuit, with a journey time of 15 minutes each way. You will need to provide the following details of all passengers at the time of booking and each passenger will also need to bring their passport with them on the day:
Routes from regional airports to the circuit may be available on request.
