Getting to Silverstone Circuit

Silverstone Circuit

Official circuit parking is located on the Luffield and Abbey side of the circuit. Motorcycles park free at the circuit over the entire weekend and do not require parking passes.

Free parking is available at Silverstone on Friday, however a parking pass must be purchased for Saturday and Sunday. A parking pass must be booked in advance and fixed to your windscreen in order to avoid a fixed penalty parking fine.

Parking is only available to valid circuit entry ticket-holders and the car parks close each night so guests are not permitted to stay/camp in the car parks.

Park and Ride is available for Sunday only and allows you to park at the new location of Sixfields Stadium near the M1 and you can then board the shuttle bus to the circuit.

Parking passes are also available for the independently run Whittlebury Park car park and will be available to book shortly. This car parking is located approximately 10 minute walk from Copse and Becketts Grandstands and is easily accessible from the A413. All cars must be off site by 8pm on each day.

    Coach & Bus

bookmoto.com are offering megabus MotoGP coach services running from a number of pick-up points to Silverstone Circuit. Coaches aim to arrive at Silverstone for 10:00 and depart for the return at 16:30. A coach pass must be purchased for each person wishing to board the coach.

megabus prices will be released at a later date.

A taxi drop-off/pick-up point is located in car park 25 behind the Silverstone UTC. Please be aware that taxis will need to follow a very specific route, entering Silverstone Village from the north, to avoid getting caught in the A43 one-way system and being forced into the circuit parking - check your driver understands the route in advance.

Alternatively, taxis can drive into the circuit but because the A43 road may be redirected as a one-way, you will need to book the taxi for the full day and buy car parking.

We recommend booking return journeys in advance to avoid long waits on the day.

The train stations nearest to Silverstone are Northampton (25km from circuit) or Milton Keynes (35km from circuit). From here you will be able to take a shuttle bus to the circuit (payable on the day) or alternatively you can consider taking a taxi.

Bespoke helicopter transfers may be arranged. Please contact us for further information and prices.

If you are camping or staying close to the circuit then it may be possible to walk to the circuit. Check with your accommodation provider for possible routes.
