Getting to Circuit of the Americas

Circuit of the Americas

There is very limited public transport available to the track, and so driving is the best option. If travelling by car, the circuit strongly recommend car sharing as this will help to reduce traffic and congestion. Motorcycle parking is free for all ticket-holders throughout the race weekend in Lot H, however cars will need to purchase a parking pass. Parking is available to purchase in Lots F and T for either the full weekend, or individual days.

Depending on the tickets you have purchased, the Circuit suggests the following parking lots:

    • Lot F - Turn 15 Grandstands & General Admission
    • Lot T - Main Grandstand, Turn 1 Grandstand & General Admission

    Coach & Bus

There are no public buses running directly to or from the circuit. Shuttle busses have been provided in previous years and are expected to be available for the 2019 race. More information will be made available closer to the race weekend.

Those who do not wish to drive to the track may want to consider taking a taxi, as this is the most direct route. Ride-hailing apps Uber and Lyft both operate in Austin although they can be subject to on-demand inflation, particularly after the race when a $30 journey can cost $100+.

There is no train station that directly serves the track. However, national Amtrak trains run from several cities around the United States to Austin. From Downtown Austin you can take a taxi straight to the track.
