MotoGP's governing body, Dorna, has formally ratified an 18-race calendar for the 2016 season, running from March to November. The first race will take place in a floodlit Qatar, and the final race of the season will conclude in Valencia once again.
There have been no changes to the provisional calendar that was released in November. The calendar includes the return of the former A1 Circuit in Austria. Czech Republic also returns to the calendar at the Brno Autodrom after much speculation about the future of this track.
