Exellent Weekend

General Admission
By Miss Moore, 16 May 2013
This weekend was a birthday gift for my partner, we thoroughly enjoyed this chance of a life time trip from the UK to watch our favourite sport. The only thing we wished we could have changed was the lack of shade from the blistering sunshine.

The circuit is a good circuit for atmosphere and its large screen coverage of the racing but the facilities for the Pelouse were second rate

Great event

A10
By Roy Burgess, 13 May 2013
Great experience.we had good reserved seats in stand on the new Lorenzo corner, last bend before finish straight. First day parked in main car park and walked to circuit, then found out that ticket allowed us to park behind our stand which we did for next two days. Good clean toilets for this stand. Spanish organization for this event was very good, great crowd, great racing will return next year.

Brilliant weekend with great atmosphere

X2
By Kevin Newton, 09 May 2013
Access to the circuit was very quick and easy but we arrived early in the morning and so beat the rush. Donington & Silverstone - eat your heart out!

Walked around the circuit on Saturday morning when there were less people and this was great. I really got a feel for the place and the intricacies of the track. There are some great viewing areas and photo opportunities but I would expect them to be useless on a packed race-day. Be warned that none of the grandstands are covered and there is little cover around so there is no escape from the relentless sun (or rain if you are unlucky enough to get it). The locals disappeared under the grandstands as soon as the bikes were done, every session, to get in the shade and escape the heat.
There is plenty of opportunity to buy merchandise, but very poor food amenities (especially compared to Mugello) with few places around. This seems to be a cultural thing as we noticed that the locals all bought food (and drink) with them. Prices were reasonable though – only slightly higher than high street. There was a large “village” just outside the circuit which was easily accessible (you obtain an exit pass on the way out which grants re-admittance) and there were much better food facilities there. This is slightly inconvenient if you are situated on the far side of the circuit though!
Ear plugs were most definitely needed – not for the bikes but for the annoyingly loud and enthusiastic circuit commentators! I expected to be seated a lot further away from the track than we were so was pleasantly surprised.
The locals started leaving the track during the last lap of the MotoGP so we stuck around and watched the Red Bull Rookies before heading out and got away without issue. Again, a lot of other circuits could take note here.

5 stars all round with the only 4 star being track-side eateries.

Jerez 2013

X0
By David, 09 May 2013
Jerez 2013 We stayed in Jerez the sun was shining all weekend and it was brilliant went all three days, The only down side to the whole weekend was transport to and from the circuit, buses Friday,Saturday all start to late to see all the practise fine in the afternoon. Sunday nothing and i mean nothing, we had to catch a cab every day to get there. Sunday had to walk miles before seeing a cab. Great track though.

Good circuit easy to get to off motorway

X2
By Gary, 08 May 2013
Good circuit although we could only see about a quarter of it from stand X2. Parking is a long way from the gate although there is a noddy train doing shuttle runs it is a long wait at the end of qualifying and the race. We walked back and it took about 20 minutes.
Lots of screens dotted about so you could keep up with most of the action.
Usual Moto GP stands all around so plenty of souvenirs and food stalls.
We stayed in Chiclana which was about 40 minutes drive away.

Excellent weekend again at Jerez

General Admission
By Paul Woodman, 08 May 2013
Our 2nd time at Jerez and it was just as good. They've even got a shuttle from the car park we got shepparded to this time.
Only problem was on the Friday when we arrived, one steward said go this way, one said go that way and we eventually had to go out the circuit and out to another entrance we only knew about from our previous trip.

Another poor seat

VIP
By Gordon Blair, 07 May 2013
Unfortunately, the tickets we received were miles from the starting grid and the podium. As a result, we decided to leave the VIP Stand and find an alternative viewing point. I am aware that this is out with your control, nonetheless, I will have to consider this when purchasing tickets in the future.

Fantastic Weekend

X1
By Surrey, 07 May 2013
Jerez motogp weekend was fantastic. great atmosphere, alot easier than we expected to get there and back (after reading previous reviews) Didn't go on the Friday, got dropped off by taxi right outside the entrance Sat and Sun, and got a taxi back from the rank outside both days immediately and with no problems (around 20-25 euros each way from central Jerez). Not alot of bathroom facilities for the ladies, so be warned. Remember the hand gel sanitizer and the sun block, it was about 30 degrees and burning hot. No cover if it were to rain. Book moto were great at answering questions and so helpful.

Excellent weekend racing

By Angry Tigerrr, 07 May 2013
The Spanish know their racing, the facilities required and how to. Police presence was good, the parking and drop off really good, first aid was excellent as we had to use it, refreshments were really good too, lots of ice and cool drinks on a very hot weekend.
The toilets were a bit of a problem as always at functions, they got full very quickly. :(

Good Racing Weekend

By martin n, 07 May 2013
the weekend was great but there was a lack of food\drink facilities in and around the main stand. A few more places to eat and drink would have been helpful. The seats were great though directly in front of the podium looking down on the starting grid.

Great seats would be even better if the middle of the Repsol sponsored bridge was see through so you could see the start/ finish too. Food was not very impressive, no selection at all really.

Not good/shocking witness

X0
By Ahain, 06 May 2013
Fantastic races although stand has not got a good view, needs turned slightly. Seats were cramped, no room to move! Where we were seated spoiled our experience to be honest, poor poor seating, whilst walking to toilets I witnessed a piece of scaffolding falling and just missing landing on a pram from stand x1!!! Shuttle service to and from the circuit was an absolute disgrace!

GP Jerez

J4
By Heinrich Schmidt, 06 May 2013
Very nice weekend at the Jerez GP.
A tip about getting to the track coming from the sea. (Rota, Cadiz, etc) Do not take the highway, but take the eastern bypass of Jerez.
Then you come directly next to the car park at the campgrounds. Almost without any traffic jam.

Moto GP in jerez

M6
By P. Linch, 06 May 2013
Excellent provision made for getting in and out of the circuit. Unfortunately we were not able to find and/or purchase a programme. I think that an earpiece like they use at other sports (ie snooker, Edinburgh castle etc) would be hugely beneficial for people who don't speak the language of the country the event is in as without a programme or being able to understand the language something of the event was lost. Would also say that the food and drink was reasonably priced, unlike Brands Hatch and Silverstone!
Thoroughly enjoyed the event though.

Fantastico!

A10
By Sirrahas, 06 May 2013
Where to start? First of all a massive thank you to the team at book moto who managed to get my tickets delivered to my hotel in malaga within 24 hours. Second. This was probably the most well organised event i've ever been to. Route to the circuit was well signposted, however we still managed to miss the turn for the main enterance on saturday and ended up in an offsite car park several miles away. on sunday we got it right. So here's how it works, the tickets for A10 includes onsite car or motorcycle parking directly behind the A10 stand. As you near the circuit hang your parking ticket on your interior mirror or stick it to the front of your bike, follow overhead sign "acreditas y moto" to puetra 1 ie. the main entrance, then just follow the directions from the police/stewards. We were parked less than 100 yards from the stand. At the end just take your time and watch the red bull rookies race (which was worth watching by the way) and by the time its finished the traffic will have reduced. ¡Buena suerte!

Great circuit. Very long walk to all gates except no.2 from the ONLY car park available. I drove the complete circuit via the small country roads, to find that all the entrances were policed & they simply steered me back to the 1 car park. As I live in Spain I know how they think & the only thing that was lacking, AS USUAL, here, was "signage". Most complaints I heard were,. of the confusion ref the car park & the toilets! However this is meant as purely, constructive criticism
