Brothers watch Bikes

Easy to get there and easy to get out if you are on a bike. Would not recomend travelling there by car. Food good. Pit walk not worth the money as not enough bikes were out. Riders did not come out and too many people were allowed through at once. Not enough WC facilities resulting in long queues for the loo.

NO TV OPPOSITE ABBEY GRANDSTAND!!!!!!!!!!

ACCESS TO CIRCUIT GOOD, GOT TO ABBEY GRANDSTAND TO FIND THAT THE TV SCREEN THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OPPOSITE THE GRANDSTAND WASN'T THERE! I REALISE THAT THE CIRCUIT IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION BUT THE TV SCREEN WAS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR PICKING THE ABBEY STAND, WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THESE TICKETS IF I'D KNOWN. NOT ENOUGH SCREENS NOT ENOUGH TANNOYS!!!!! COME ON SILVERSTONE!!!!!!

the campsite could have done with a bit more roaming security, there were tents broken in to and equipment stolen, which you do not expect.

Why can't departure from the car parks out onto the road system be improved.
My departure route was out via the village of Dadford where the traffic was moving at a reasonable pace but the delay to get around the traffic on the one way system onto the Dadford road was a complete disaster and very time consuming. Also where the Stowe road crosses the A422 police control is required as it is a major hold up but more important it is an accident waiting to happen.

We had a good time but were totally dissappointed with our Sunday Seats. We paid for Farm so we could watch on screen and when we got there there was no screen - no-one had any idea where I should go to get my seats changed and after an hour of being sent from pillar to post I was told there was told 'Oh well'. Complete JOKE! Silverstone Cutomer Service has since been appauling.

Great Weekend

I really enjoyed the full weekend at Silverstone, We arrived on the Thursday and went home on the Monday. The whole weekend was great. The weekend was a Birthday treat to my best friend, whos birthday was the Sunday the day of the main races, and we both enjoyed the experience so much we cannot wait until next year.
The only down fall though was that we had the pit walk passes but only half the racers actually came out to sign autographs. which was a little disapointing but overall we had a fabulous time. :)

Some salient points

There were plenty of stalls to look round and they were interesting. The price of food available on the catering stalls was nothing short of extortionate. How on earth a bacon sandwich can command the princely sum of £7.00 is beyond me. I can only assume that the ground rent demanded of the stallholders by the Silverstone authority is similarly extortionate, forcing their prices up. Also, the television screen in front of the pits straight stand was too small. No detail could be made out on the screen, and it needs to be much bigger.

Fantastic Experience

I received this trip as part of a birthday gift. Had an absolutely fab time. All facilities couldn't have been any better. Very impressed with the whole running of the weekend. Stayed at the Campsite and facilites and staff were wonderful.

We had a fantastic day - the first of many I hope. The only advice I would really give is to get there and pick your spot as early as possible as the open veiwing areas soon fill up. Also be prepared for any weather it was freezing when we arrived at 7am but by lunchtime we were all baking in the heat!!

booked for first visit to moto gp bought platinum ticket for me and my husband, we thought they were good value for money. thought the circuit was great, good facilities, the marshalls were also very helpful. had a great weekend.
booking tickets from bookmoto.com was easy to do they kept us fully informed of everything that was going on.
definitely booking for next year. keep up the good work!

well done silverstone

apart from the uncontrollable weather, the high food & drink prices around the track & the fact that most of the traders seemed to be packing up as soon as the main event finished with three more races to go, the whole weekend was fantastic, silverstone did a fantastic job of having things to do & watch the whole three days we were there. all the staff were very helpfull & friendly & the whole site was very clean & tidy. job well done & will definately come back.

Everything excellent apart from when it was time to leave. 2.5hours to travel 17 miles is not acceptable. I suggest they thing about having seperate car parrks for people travelling in different directions, i.e one for people leaving north,one for people leaving south.
